Beatles Fans Prepare To Mark John Lennon's Death AnniversaryDecember 7, 2010
Beatles fans around the world are preparing to mark the 30th anniversary of John Lennon's death.
The musician, who would have also turned 70 this year, was shot dead outside his New York home on December 8. As a member of the Fab Four, Lennon pioneered music in the 1960s before launching a successful solo career. Tributes have already been paid from the singer's family and friends, including his son Sean Lennon. The Beatle was killed by Mark Chapman, who admitted earlier this year that murdering the Beatle was a “horrible decision”.
