Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl: You Shouldn't Have To Do F*cking Glee

Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl has criticised Glee creator Ryan Murphy.

The frontman has said that Murphy shouldn't think that everybody wants to do Glee and that it should be a band's right to choose whether or not their songs should appear on the show.

"You shouldn't have to do f*cking Glee. And then the guy who created Glee is so offended that we're not, like, begging to be on his f*cking show... I watched ten minutes [of it]. It's not my thing," Grohl told he Hollywood Reporter.

He added: "Slash was the first one. [Murphy] wanted to do Guns N' Roses, and Slash is like, 'I hate f*cking musicals. It's worse than Grease'. Then [Murphy's] like, 'Well, of course he'd say that. He's a washed-up ol' rock star. That's what they f*cking do'."

"And then Kings of Leon say, 'No, we don't want to be on your show'. And then he's like, 'Snotty little a*sholes…' And it's just like, 'Dude, maybe not everyone loves Glee. Me included'."

Meanwhile, Foo Fighters have announced details of a one-off gig in aid of the recent victims of the New Zealand earthquake.
