April 16, 2010
Thom Yorke Covers Joy Division's 'Love Will Tear Us Apart'Thom Yorke and his band Atoms For Peace surprised the audience at the Oakland Fox Theatre last night by bursting into a cover of the Joy Division's 'Love Will Tear Us Apart'.

The thousands packed into the Californian venue were clearly as delighted as Thom Yorke himself while the classic was played.

Check out the clip below.

Thom Yorke's other band Radiohead covered Joy Division's 'Ceremony' as part of their Thumbs Down webcast in 2008.

Atoms For Peace wrap up their US jaunt with an appearance at Coachella Festival this weekend.
