Florence Welch Advises Ellie Goulding Not To Swear At The Brit AwardsJanuary 8, 2010
Last year's Brits Critics Choice Award winner Florence Welch has given Ellie Goulding some much needed advice ahead of the ceremony next month.
As well as scooping the Brit Award, Goulding has today topped the BBC Sound of 2010 poll so expectations are high. Asked what wise words she has for Goulding at the Earls Court bash on February 16th, Florence told The Daily Star: “My advice would be try not to get too freaked out. Don’t be scared by the attention, try to just have fun." “Don’t swear and get so nervous that you cry afterwards like I did. It can be really scary having those cameras thrust in your face for the first time. “You just go: ‘What the...?’ because you don’t expect it to happen.” A visibly nervous Florence said "f*ck" in front of the cameras at last year's Brits.
