Arcade Fire Win Big At Canada's Juno AwardsMarch 28, 2011
Arcade Fire won big at this year's Juno Awards in Canada.
The Montreal-based band picked up four awards including album of the year for 'The Suburbs'. "We're truly overwhelmed. Thank you everybody. Thank you to Montreal, our home where we all live, and thanks to Toronto," band member Richard Reed Parry said, He added: "Toronto is one of the first places we had, like, really exciting shows and felt like something crazy might be about to happen. And something did. So thanks for being there with us." Other winners at the awards included Neil Young who picked up the award for artist of the year, reports ABC News. Meanwhile, Arcade Fire, The Chemical Brothers and Pulp will play this year's Electric Picnic festival in Ireland, it's been announced.
