Elbow Planning Special 'Album Only' TourMarch 18, 2008
Elbow frontman Guy Garvey has revealed that the band are planning a tour that will see them exclusively play their new album in full.
The tour, which will take place after the band complete scheduled dates in the UK and US this Spring, will take in cities across the world. “I’m not sure where yet but a couple of major cities per country perhaps but eventually we’ll play the whole of the album as a continual show,” he told the BBC. Last week, Garvey told Gigwise that he plans to lobby against companies such as iTunes who allow users to download individual tracks off albums. “It needs looking after, it needs protecting, internet music companies like iTunes need to let artists present and sell their music in the way they want to,” he said. Elbow released their latest studio album, ‘The Seldom Seen Kid’, on Monday (March 17th). (by Jason Gregory) See also: Elbow To Warm-Up For U2 At Glastonbury Festival 2011 (07.03.2011)
