Jack White And Norah Jones On Board For Danger Mouse New AlbumNovember 9, 2010
Danger Mouse has revealed that Jack White and Norah Jones will appear on his forthcoming collaboration album with Italian composer Daniele Luppi.
The new album is named 'Rome' after Danger Mouse and Luppi recorded the album over the past five years around the Italian capital. The release date and tracklisting is yet to be revealed, but speaking about White and Jones, Danger Mouse said: "I definitely wanted a man and a woman. The female vocal needed to be soft, not polarising. But the male needed to have a bit more angst to it." He added to The Guardian: "I played some of the music for Jack White when I was on tour shortly after doing the first session, just to show him what I was doing… he liked it, but at the time I wasn't even thinking of using him – you know, it's Jack White." The DJ/Producer has also been working on U2's new album 'Songs of Ascent'. (by Holly Frith) See also: The White Stripes To Release Final Gig As Live Album (11.04.2011)
