Carl Barat Announces London Book Signing And Acoustic Gig

September 13, 2010
Carl Barat Announces London Book Signing And Acoustic GigCarl Barat has announced details of a book signing in London for his forthcoming memoirs.

The Libertines star will sign copies of Threepenny Memoir: The Lives Of A Libertine at Waterstones in Piccadilly on October 27.

Barat has also promised to perform acoustically at the event for fans who have missed out on tickets to his show at the Scala later in the evening.

“I am doing a small acoustic show at Waterstones in Piccadilly and reading from my book,” Barat said. “I think it's only 3 quid.”

Threepenny Memoir: The Lives Of A Libertine, which documents Barat’s time with the band, is released on September 30.

Meanwhile, the singer’s self-titled debut solo album is due to be released on October 4.
