Spandau Ballet Announce Reunion World Tour

March 25, 2009
Spandau Ballet Announce Reunion World TourSpandau Ballet have reformed for a world tour, which will begin in Dublin on October 13th.

The 80s pop group will play a total of eight venues in the UK and Ireland before calling at concert capitals around the world.

Spandau Ballet, who are famous for such hits as 'Gold' and 'True', split acrimoniously in 1989.

Relations between the band members continued to sour during the nineties in a dispute over songwriting royalties.

But the band appeared to have put their differences behind them as they announced their reformation on HMS Belfast in London.

Spandau Ballet's UK and Ireland dates:

  • Dublin, The O2 – October 13
  • Belfast, Odyssey Arena – 14
  • Sheffield, Arena – 16
  • Glasgow, SECC – 17
  • London, O2 Arena – 20
  • Birmingham, LG Arena – 24
  • Newcastle, Metro Radio Arena – 26
  • Manchester, MEN Arena – 28
