My Chemical Romance Praise Harry Potter And Alan PartridgeNovember 23, 2010
My Chemical Romance have expressed their new found love for all things London, saying it reminds them of Hogwarts from Harry Potter.
"We used to come here (London) and think, 'F*ck it, this isn't home,” guitarist Frank Lero said to The Sun. “Stupid stuff, like none of our things would plug into the sockets. But the more we came back, the more we started to like the differences. "We love it now. Everything looks like Harry Potter. Camden is exactly like Hogwarts." Frontman Gerard Way also admitted that he enjoyed to British accent and said it reminded him of TV's Alan Partridge. "I love the way people say 'proper' and 'sorted. And how they pronounce 'vitamin'... but the thing I love most is Alan Partridge. He's hilarious," he said. Meanwhile, My Chemical Romance's fourth album 'Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys' was released yesterday (November 22).
