
The people behind popular BBC TV show Ashes to Ashes have announced details of its official soundtrack, released later this month.
Unsurprisingly it will feature the David Bowie track from whence the show was spawned, ‘Ashes to Ashes’, as well as a veritable smorgasbord of acts from those heady days in the early Eighties.
Yes, we get Duran Duran’s ‘Girls on Film’, Visage’s ‘Fade To Gray’, Ultravox’s ‘Vienna’, The Ruts’ ‘Staring At The Rude Boys’ and more on the 22 track tribute to the era.
