Jedward Facing Tax Bill Over Michael Jackson BedsheetsJanuary 20, 2011
Former X Factor stars Jedward have been told they must pay import tax before they can get their hands on a collection of Michael Jackson memorabilia.
The twins – real names John and Edward Grimes – bought £15,000 worth of items, which include the singer's old bedsheets, last year. The memorabilia arrived at Heathrow airport on Monday, but Jedward have been told they must pay the duty before they can collect the items. "John and Edward are gutted - it's the most money they've ever spent,” a source told The Sun. The twins revealed last year that Jackson's bedsheets had been signed by the late singer's friend and Home Alone star Macaulay Caulkin.
