Corinne Bailey Rae's Husband Died From Suspected OverdoseMarch 27, 2008
Jason Rae, the husband of popstar Corinne Bailey Rae, died from a suspected overdose, a pathologists report has ruled.
Rae’s body was found in a house in the Hyde Park area of Leeds on Saturday. A 32-year-old man was released on bail pending further enquires. A short hearing at Leeds Coroner's Court earlier today (March 27th) said that their were no signs of trauma or violence. The inquest into Rae’s death has been adjourned in order for police to proceed with the investigation, reports the BBC. Rae was the saxophonist in the Leeds band Haggis Horn’s and had collaborated with such stars as Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson. Bailey-Rae has yet to release a statement about her husband’s death, although she has been described as devastated.
