Robert Plant 'Can't Relate' To Led Zeppelin AnymoreJanuary 7, 2011
Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant has said he can no longer relate to the band.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, the singer all but ended fans hopes of another reunion following the group’s one-off gig in London in 2007. “It was an amazing evening," he said. "The preparations for it were fraught and intense, but the last rehearsal was really, really good, for all that it represented and all that we were trying to capture. “But I've gone so far somewhere else that I almost can't relate to it...It's a bit of a pain in the pisser to be honest. Who cares? “I know people care, but think about it from my angle - soon, I'm going to need help crossing the street." Calls for more gigs have been constant since the concert at the O2 Arena. Last year, Jason Bonham, the son of the group’s original drummer, revealed Led Zeppelin almost reunited again without Plant.
