Cheryl Cole, Kings Of Leon To Storm UK Charts

Cheryl Cole is set to top the UK singles chart with her new track, 'Promise This'.

The X Factor judge's song has sold over 100,000 copies in two days, meaning Cole is on course to earn one of the biggest first week sales of any single this year.

Helping Haiti's version of R.E.M's 'Everybody Hurts' is the biggest selling single of the year so far, with 400,000 first-week sales.

Katy Perry's summer hit 'California Gurls' sold 125,000 copies in its first week, according to the Official Charts Company.

Meanwhile, in the album chart, Kings Of Leon are expected to remain at number one with 'Come Around Sundown'.

The band played a secret show at for BBC Radio 1 in London last night (October 27).
