Robert Pattinson Opens Up About Plans For Music Career

June 16, 2010
Robert Pattinson Opens Up About Plans For Music CareerTwilight star Robert Pattinson has revealed that he is trying to get back into music.

The 24-year-old British actor, who used to harness an ambition to become a musician, said he had stopped listening to new music due to his career.

"It's kind of driving me crazy," he told MTV.

But Pattinson said he had just bought two new guitars and was looking to start writing again.

"I haven't been [paying attention to music] for a while," he said.

"I don't know why. I've just sort of not been listening to it. It's so odd when that happens. You're just like, 'I've forgotten what everything is'."

But he added: "I've just bought a couple new guitars, and I've started trying to write things again. But I never have any time, ever."

One of Pattinson's songs appeared on the soundtrack to the original Twilight film in 208.

The actor is currently promoting the third film in the franchise, Eclipse, which is released on July 9.
