New Bruce Springsteen Album To Feature Longest Studio Song Since 1980December 9, 2008
Bruce Springsteen's forthcoming album will feature his longest studio song in decades, it has emerged.
The album's opening track 'Outlaw Pete' is eight minutes long – Springsteen's longest track since 'Drive All Night', which appered on his 1980 studio LP, 'The River'. 'Working On A Dream' also features the late E Street band member Danny Federici, who died in April, and his son, Jason. The album is released on January 27th. A deluxe edition of 'Working On A Dream' will include a bonus DVD featuring behind-the-scenes footage. As previously reported, Springsteen completed work on the album after he left the campaign trail in support of President-elect Barack Obama.
