Jay-Z And Alicia Keys Film New Video Around Ground Zero

Jay-Z shot the video for new single 'Empire State Of Mind' near Ground Zero in New York on Thursday.

Alicia Keys, who sings the track's chrous, also joined the rapper at the Hype Williams-directed video shoot.

The song is Jay-Z's ode to New York City and includes a lyric - “long live the world trade” - which refers to the 9/11 attacks.

Construction to rebuild Ground Zero has been ongoing since the terrorist attacks of 2001.

The song, which features on the rapper's latest album 'The Blueprint 3', is already available as a download.

Meanwhile, according to MTV, Jay-Z is set to release a new greatest hits collection on November 24 via former record label Def Jam.
