Blur's Alex James To Launch Music Festival At His Own FarmFebruary 3, 2011
Blur bassist Alex James is to stage a musical festival at his own farm in Oxfordshire, it's been announced.
The event, dubbed Harvest, takes place from September 9-12, and will feature performances from KT Tunstall and Steve Earle. As well as live music, the festival will also boast cookery masterclasses, pop-up restaurants and a farmers market. James said: "We'll throw open the farm gates for Harvest this September. My family are looking forward to a celebration of all our favourite things - food, the farm and music. What more could we ask for?" Harvest is the sister event to the one organiser by TV present and farmer Jimmy Doherty at his farm in Suffolk. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Blur To Release Full Album In 2011 (20.12.2010)
