Blink-182 Play First Gig In Four Years, Unveil Full Comeback TourMay 15, 2009
Blink-182 played their first gig in four years last night (May 14) in the Los Angeles.
The group, who announced their reformation earlier this year, played a surprise set at a private party at Hollywood’s Paramount Pictures. Bassist Mark Hoppus described the show as “one of the best nights of my life”. “Thanks to everyone who was there,” he wrote on his blog, “And most of all, thanks to Travis (Barker, drummer) and Tom (DeLonge, guitarist and vocalist). “You are my brothers, and it feels amazing to share the stage with you once again.” The band performed after Weezer, who will support Blink-182 on their reunion tour this summer.
