Blink-182's Travis Barker Discharged From Hospital After Plane CrashSeptember 30, 2008
Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has been discharged from hospital nine days after surviving a plane crash which killed four people.
Barker and his friend, DJ AM – who was discharged last week - were the only survivors after their Learjet careered off a runway in Columbia, South Carolina. Both men suffered severe burns in the crash, which killed Barker's assistant, Chris Baker, and bodyguard, Charles Still. A spokesperson for Doctors Hospital told People yesterday: "Travis is in good condition and was discharged this morning. He has left Augusta.” The US publication also claimed that an unnamed source had told them that Barker was returning to Los Angeles via bus. "Trust me, [Barker] will never fly again — ever,” the source said. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Blink-182 Postpone UK And Ireland Tour Until 2012 (18.04.2011)
