U2 Star Larry Mullen Jr's First Movie Set For Cannes Film FestivalApril 27, 2011
U2 drummer Larry Mullen Jr's first acting role will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival next month, it's been announced.
Man On The Train, which is based on a 2002 French Film, also stars Donald Sutherland. Mullen Jr played a stranger who arrives in a small town to rob a bank in the Mary McGuckian-directed movie. The role was played by Johnny Hallyday in the original. The drummer also produced the film with McGuckia and Martin Katz, as well as writing the movie score.
