KISS: 'Breathing Difficulties Caused London Gig To Be Cut Short'March 3, 2010
KISS were forced to cut short a gig in London last night (March 2) due to breathing difficulties.
In a statement, the band said the problems were caused by Co2 canisters used to blast confetti during 'Rock and Roll All Nite'. Singer Paul Stanley said the situation, which meant KISS played just 12 songs – including a one song encore – was “pretty scary”. “Once the confetti cannons went off, we barely made it off stage. Each of us thought we were the only one until we saw each other,” he said. The intimate showcase, at the Islington Academy, was a warm-up for their forthcoming European tour. But despite the problems, Stanley described the gig as an “amazing night that left many breathless”. (Gigwise) See also: Lady Gaga To Record Song With KISS? (24.08.2010)
