Babyshambles Debut Anti-British National Party SongNovember 6, 2009
Babyshambles debuted a hard-hitting anti-British National Party song for the first time at an intimate show in North London last night (November 5).
Four songs into 'secret' show at the Proud Gallery in Camden, the band launched into the abrasive track 'The BNP Blues' which berates Nick Griffin's party. Elsewhere during the set, Pete Doherty and co. covered the Michael Jackson classic 'Billie Jean' and aired several new songs including opener 'Fireman'. With the rammed room pushing forwards, the set ended with a rabble-rousing rendition of The Libertines' 'Time For Heroes' and Babyshambles' biggest anthem 'Fuck Forever'.
