Pete Doherty And Kate Moss Blood Portrait Up For Auction

A self-portrait of the supermodel Kate Moss, which is inscribed in blood by Pete Doherty, is to go up for auction.

The artwork, which is painted in lipstick, is expected to fetch upwards of £40,000.

The painting comes from Doherty's own private collection and is accompanied by a receipt signed by the singer.

According to the Telegraph, one of Doherty's blood paintings will also be sold at auction house Lyon & Turnbull, and is expected to raise £10,000.

Both pieces of art were painted between 2005 and 2006.
