N-Dubz' Dappy Admits To Misleading Police And Dodging Train FaresJune 16, 2010
N-Dubz' star Dappy has revealed that the group regularly tell the police the wrong information if they are stopped and searched.
In a new documentary, Dappy claims that the police “used to be a big problem” for the trio, and that they would often get chased. "Up to this day we still give the wrong name and address," he said. Dappy is also filmed saying that he regularly used to dodge train fares, but that he is now “legit”. A spokesperson for Scotland Yard told the BBC it was not an offence to give the false information unless under arrest. The Channel 4 documentary, Being N-Dubz, follows Dappy, Tulisa and Frazer around the North London borough where they grew up. It is due to debut next Monday (June 21).
