Arctic Monkeys To Release Third Album This YearMarch 13, 2008
If a report in today’s Daily Star is to be believed, Arctic Monkeys are planning to release their third album this year.
Alex Turner and co. are apparently busy at work in a London studio recording the follow-up to ‘Favourite Worst Nightmare’ and are intent on making it a hattrick of albums in just three years. A ‘source’ said: “A lot of people were surprised to see Arctics at the Brits as it’s usually the kind of event they steer clear of. “The reason they went is because they’ve been down in London working on new material and fancied a night off to relax. “Alex is overflowing with song ideas and it’s all going so well they’re looking at releasing an album this year.” If that’s not enough to satisfy Arctic Monkeys aficionados, Alex Turner’s album with The Rascals’ Miles Kane, ‘The Last Shadow Puppets’, hits the shelves on April 21.
