Florence & The Machine has been nominated for four prizes at this year’s Mojo Honours List awards.
The singer, real name Florence Welch, is in the running for Best Album, Breakthrough Act and Best Live Act. Welch’s cover of ‘You've Got The Love’ is also up for Song Of The Year, along with tracks by Arctic Monkeys, Richard Hawley and Kasabian. The Leicester band are also nominated for Best Live Act and Best Album for ‘West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum’. Mumford & Sons, The Low Anthem, John Grant and The Jim Jones Revue are also nominated for Breakthrough Act. Arctic Monkeys are also in the running for Best Live Act, while Hawkwind will collect the 2010 Mojo maverick award. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on June 10.
