Amy Winehouse To Buy Former Oasis Studio?March 25, 2008
Amy Winehouse is reportedly in talks to buy the Wheeler End Studios in Berkshire in order to record her third album.
The studio complex at Huckenden Farm has been used by Robbie Williams, Led Zeppelin and, until recently, Oasis. According to the Daily Star, Winehouse has booked a viewing at the property, which is up for sale for £3 million. Suzanne Lee Barnes, co-owner of the studios, said that she was keen to see musicians continuing to use the property. “What I want, more than anything, is to see it sold to someone who intends to carry on using it as a recording studio,” she said.
