Amy Winehouse And Mark Ronson Record Songs For Quincy Jones AlbumApril 26, 2010
Amy Winehouse has recorded three songs for a tribute album organised by Quincy Jones.
The singer, who was originally linked to the record in 2008, entered the studio with producer Mark Ronson earlier this month. Winehouse’s father Mitch said: "She did three tracks. She's doing great." Last year, the singer was reported to be recording a cover of Lesley Gore's ‘You Don't Own Me’ for the album, which has been years in the making. However, it is unclear whether this was one of the songs Winehouse and Ronson worked on this month, reports The Guardian. As previously reported, Winehouse is widely expected to release the follow-up to 2006’s ‘Back To Black’ later this year.
