Amy Winehouse Recording 'Sensational' Third AlbumNovember 4, 2008
Amy Winehouse's manager Lucian Grange has said that demos for the singer's third album are sounding “sensational”.
Winehouse is currently recording the follow-up to her 2006 album 'Back To Black', which has yet to be titled. Speaking to BBC 6Music, Grange said: "I’ve heard some demos and I’ve heard some simple acoustic songs that she’s played me in my office on acoustic guitar, and what I’ve heard has been sensational." Grange said he believed strongly that Winehouse would return to the same form that has seen her rise to become one of the biggest female artists in the world. "Of course, because I’m an optimist and I believe in her. I believe in her as a person and I certainly believe in her as an artist and that’s what I hope for,” he said. Grange, Chairman and Chief Executive of Universal Music Group, collected the Music Industry Trust Award in London last night (November 3rd) for his services to music.
