Amy Winehouse 'To Release Her James Bond Theme Song'August 12, 2008
Amy Winehouse is planning to release the song she recorded for the new James Bond film, according to reports.
Winehouse recorded a potential theme song alongside producer Mark Ronson earlier this year but the track wasn't chosen by the films producers. Instead they selected a collaboration between Jack White and Alicia Keys, entitled 'Another Way To Die'. Winehouse is quoted as telling New that she wants to “prove that [the producers] made a big mistake” by not choosing her song. "I do think they could have waited a bit. If they want a worldwide hit I have them all up here (pointing to her beehive),” she said. “I guess they are going for clean-cut and boring. When I do release mine - and I am tempted to do it on the same day - this would be the bigger hit.” She then apparently told the publication that she was waiting should White and Keys' song fail to materialise. The next Bond film, Quantum of Solace, which will once again star Daniel Craig, will be released worldwide in early October.
