Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page Inducted Into Mojo Hall Of FameJune 11, 2010
Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page has been inducted into the Mojo Hall of Fame.
Page collected the award at the magazine’s annual Honours List awards ceremony in London last night (June 10). "Jimmy Page is the musician by whom all other musicians are measured,” Mojo’s Editor-In-Chief Phil Alexander said. Richard Hawley collected the Best Album prize for ‘Truelove's Gutter’, while The Low Anthem were named Breakthrough Act. Other awards went to Midlake for Best Live Act and Devo, who won the Merit Award. Bassist Mani collected The MOJO Classic Album Award on behalf of his former band, The Stone Roses.
