Neil Young To Headline Glastonbury Festival With Bruce Springsteen, BlurMarch 9, 2009
Neil Young has been confirmed as the final headliner at this summer's Glastonbury festival.
Organiser Michael Eavis said Young's involvement was “big news” for the festival and personally a “dream come true”. “I've seen him play many times over the years but I think he's better than ever at the moment, it's one hell of a show,” he told The Guardian newspaper. The veteran singer joins previously announced headliners Bruce Springsteen and the recently reformed Blur. Other performers this year include Franz Ferdinand, Lily Allen and Fleet Foxes. The Glastonbury festival in Somerset will take place from June 26th-28th. Tickets have sold out. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Bruce Springsteen To Release New Solo Album? (22.03.2011)
