Adele Talks Second Album And Sex And The CityJune 4, 2009
Adele has said she is once again using relationships as inspiration for her second album.
The London singer is halfway through – five songs – writing the follow-up to her 2008 Grammy-winning debut '19'. "Boys, I've still got the same problems,” she told BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat. "They get worse because I'm away all the time. It gets a bit harder." She added: "The littlest things I can write about, it doesn't have to be some drama. “The littlest things about not putting a cup in the dishwasher. I can write a song about that as well." Adele has enjoyed huge exposure in the US over recent months after winning the Grammy for Best New Artist in February. The singer recently filmed a guest spot for Ugly Betty, but said she would “never” do anything else on TV unless she's approached by Sex and the City producers. Adele's as-yet-untitled second album is due to be released next year. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Adele: I Love Prince William And Kate Middleton (28.04.2011)
