50 Cent 'Cast In Eastenders'

50 Cent has secured a cameo appearance in Eastenders, it's been reported.

The US rapper, who was introduced to the show by footballer Rio Ferdinand, is understood to have landed the role after holding weeks of talks with producers.

He is due to appear on the show in the next six months, according to the Daily Mirror.

"I really wanted Peggy to throw me out of her pub, but I didn't get it organised quick enough and it's too late now,” 50 Cent said.

"I've performed with Eminem and Justin Timberlake, acted with De Niro and Pacino, had a guest spot on The Simpsons - in the US a sign you've made it to the very top, but I can't fulfil my biggest showbiz dream."

London mayor Boris Johnson and singer Robbie Williams are among the names who have previously appeared on Eastenders.
